CONTINUED EDUCATION

Health care professionals are expected to regularly update their knowledge and based on that to improve their everyday practice.
Continued professional education is a requirement for a health professional to get his licence, according to the Law on Health Care.
Faculty of Medicine organizes and realizes special forms of education and knowledge innovation, ie. continued education, pursuant to the plans and programs adopted by the Assembly for Education and Science.
Teaching plans and programs are realized in the teaching bases of the Faculty (and in other health care institutions, as required).
Life-long education programs are realized in the forms of courses, seminars, workshops, professional and scientific meetings.
Attendants of continued education programs can be the individuals with at least secondary education. They do not have student status.
When an attendant master the program he attended, the Faculty issues the CERTIFICATE on a form defined by the Assembly for Education and Science of the Faculty.
